History

Clive Wright (founder) was studying for a degree in Fine Art whilst buying, restoring and selling Victorian and Edwardian furniture through auction. The business developed into making specialist bespoke commissions, gradually encompassing design, furniture making, decorative finishing and fitting.

In 1992, the business focused primarily on private interiors leading to Clarity Arts Ltd being established in 1994. Since that time, the business has continued to innovate, grow and expand its skills and portfolio of furniture and services.

Based from our 25,000 square foot facility in Summerbridge, North Yorkshire; encompassing showroom, design studio and manufacturing, Clarity Arts now employs over 25 staff that are all committed to delivering our customers a truly bespoke and brilliant customer experience.

Today, we believe we are a unique company in our industry; in that we design, manufacture, finish, supply and install exceptional bespoke interiors for the entire home, using our own highly skilled craftsmen, and project managing the installations right through to hand over.
